We developed and implimented the FELTOM Accreditation Scheme in 2006. Over the past 18 years we have maintain rigorous standards that meet and exceed students' security, welfare, information, and social and leisure activities requirements.


This key initiative reflects our unwavering dedication to continuous improvement and the pursuit of educational excellence.

2. ADVOCACY

At the very core of FELTOM's mission lies the art of advocacy. It is one of our three pillars, and we are passionate about championing legislation and regulations that protect and advance the interests of our esteemed 14-member schools. Since our inception, we have proudly led the charge in fostering the growth of the TEFL sector in Malta.

FELTOM is the only recognised ELT association in Malta as per ELTC legislation Legal notice of 2015.

Our team works with legislators, government bodies, foreign agents, and industry stakeholders, tirelessly shaping policies and initiatives that propel growth and professionalism in English language education. We have become the go-to lobby group, recognised for our trustworthiness and effectiveness in driving the industry's development.


Notably, FELTOM played a game-changing role in establishing the world's first law that regulates English Language Schools. This groundbreaking achievement exemplifies our unwavering dedication to the growth of the English Language industry and our commitment to positioning Malta as a premier destination for top-notch language learning experiences.


With FELTOM leading the way, the future of language education in Malta looks brighter than ever!

Since its inception, FELTOM has advocated the development of the TEFL Sector in Malta, working closely with legislators and officials, including Government bodies, foreign agents and other industry stakeholders.

FELTOM was key in establishing the world’s first law regulating English Language Schools. FELTOM is the only recognised ELT association in Malta as per ELTC legislation Legal Notice 221 of 2015.

FELTOM has, over the past 35 years, established itself as a valid lobby group whose interest is solely that of seeing the English Language industry grow further and of establishing Malta as a significant quality English Language destination.
