Addressing the Skills Gap in Aviation Communication

The FLIGHT project is a 18-month initiative (2025–2027) funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA210-VET programme. Led by FELTOM in collaboration with the Bulgarian Air Force Academy (BAFA), this project aims to create high-standard, specialized English training for the aviation sector, ensuring safety, professional mobility, and excellence in communication.

Key Project Objectives & Expected Deliverables (2025-2027)

Point 1:

Industry-Specific Curriculum: Developing a tailored Aviation English syllabus for cabin crew, ground staff, and aviation professionals.

Point 2:

Digital Learning Portal: Building a state-of-the-art eLearning platform for flexible, high-quality vocational training.

Point 3:

Strategic Cooperation: Strengthening the bond between Maltese ELT schools and international aviation experts.

Point 4:

Quality Certification: Establishing a recognized quality framework for Aviation English within the FELTOM accreditation.
